VB Air-Suspension
Full Air Suspension
Full air suspension is an automatic or adjustable solution to a (suspension) problem where the existing leaf or coil spring suspension is replaced by a full air suspension system. This system includes air springs, shock absorbers, height sensors, a compressor and an electronic control unit (VB-ASCU) and, depending on the make and model of vehicle, is available for both the front and rear axle. The air suspension system filters out unevenness in the road surface, improving ride comfort.
While driving, the vehicle will constantly remain at the ride height set by VB-Airsuspension during installation. The standard ride height is determined during the development of the air suspension and is fixed.
The ride height is the ideal height for comfort and stability. The driveability and stability of the vehicle are improved, which in turn increases safety. The access/loading platform height can be raised and lowered when the vehicle is at a standstill (in some cases with the handbrake on), allowing for easy vehicle entry/exit and for loading/unloading goods.
A FULL AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM IS OFTEN FITTED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS
- Increases the ride height
- Minimises sagging- Reduces vehicle roll
- Improves suspension comfort
- Improves driving characteristics
- Increases safety
- Improves stability- Control options
EXTENSIVE CONTROL OPTIONS WITH: THE VB-FULL AIR
The VB-FullAir, one of the VB-Airsuspension full air suspension systems, comes with a sophisticated remote control that can be used to easily operate all functions of the suspension system.
THE BENEFITS OF A FULL AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM:
- Control options- Constant ride height
- Improved comfort
- Optimum driveability
- Increased stability
- Comfortable ride for passengers
- Improved protection for fragile goods
- Less wear on tyres/brakes
VB-FULL AIR 4C
VB-FullAir 4C is a complete air suspension system on the front and rear axle of the vehicle. 4C or 4-Corner indicates that four height sensors are fitted: two on the front axle and two on the rear axle. The VB-FullAir 4C system comes with one of the remote controls below. You can use our deluxe remote control (VB-Remote control) to easily control all the functions of the system.
VB-FULLAIR 2C
Full air suspension is an automatic, adjustable solution to a suspension problem where the existing leaf or coil spring suspension is replaced by a full air suspension system. This system includes air springs, shock absorbers, height sensors, a compressor and an electronic control unit (VB-ASCU).
The air suspension system filters out unevenness in the road surface, improving ride comfort.

The ride height is the ideal height for comfort and stability. The driveability and stability of the vehicle are improved, which in turn increases safety. When the vehicle is at a standstill (in some cases with the handbrake on), the access/loading platform height can be increased and decreased to comfortably enter and exit the vehicle and for goods to be conveniently loaded and unloaded.
SEMI AIR SUSPENSION
Semi-air suspension enables the suspension to be adjusted manually within certain limits. On a vehicle with leaf springs, an air spring is fitted between the chassis and the rear axle that supports the leaf spring of the vehicle. VB-SemiAir is supplied as a two-chamber system.
This means that the air springs are not connected to each other. Using a two-chamber system allows left and right to be adjusted separately, enabling the vehicle to be levelled – to some extent – even when it is loaded unevenly.

VB-FullAir: full air suspension with multi-function control
Full air suspension is an automatic, adjustable solution to a (suspension) problem where the existing leaf or coil spring suspension is replaced by a full air suspension system.
This system includes:
- Air springsshock absorbers
- Electronic control unit (VB-ASCU)
- Front struts with integrated air springs
- Height sensors
- Air reservoir
- Multi-function remote control
- User manual
- Installation by a VB accredited dealer
What are the benefits?
The air suspension system filters out unevenness in the road surface, improving comfort with a smoother and quieter ride. While driving, the vehicle will constantly remain at the optimised ride height set by VB-Airsuspension during installation. The standard ride height is determined during the development of the air suspension and is fixed. The ride height is the ideal height for comfort and stability. The driveability and stability of the vehicle are improved, which in turn increases safety. The garage/rear access height can be raised and lowered when the vehicle is at a standstill (in some cases with the handbrake on), allowing for easy vehicle entry/exit.
Features
The VB-FullAir Motorhome software package incorporates the following features accessible through the multi-function remote control*
- Sport mode lowers the suspension by circa 20mm for firmer ride and greater stability
- Off-road increases ground clearance across the entire vehicle by circa 30mm
- Parking lowers the vehicle to the lowest level for improved access and roof clearance
Optional Equipment
VB-AutoLevel
This module allows the vehicle to be positioned horizontally, even when the vehicle is standing on uneven ground. At the push of a button, the vehicle can be levelled quickly and smoothly. Unevenness of more than 10 cm can be corrected (depending on the type of vehicle). Only suitable for VB-FullAir 4C systems
Emergency valve kit
The VB-FullAir system can be pressurised by means of filling valves in the event of a possible electronic failure or a defect in the compressor. The vehicle can be brought up to driving height again by means of an external air supply so that the journey can be continued.
*Certain features only operable within speed limits
